Each student needsto generate a research idea involving examination of the impact of COVID19 on one topic area from the list below. The task is to write a research project proposal to
apply for a competitive grant funding opportunity made available by the Bill and Melinda
Gates Foundation. This project idea needs to be capable of being investigated using practical
and applied research techniques; however you do not have to explain the techniques that
could be applied at this stage, just the idea for your research. The list of topics from which
