To become more streamlined and cost-effective, healthcare providers need to consistently make excellent operational and management decisions, just as other smart companies like airline and package delivery industries do. The industry deals with the most complicated and precious creation that ever existed. Ultimately, providers in this all-important industry need to establish an operational model like that of the “air traffic control system — a centralized command-and-control capability that is predictive learns continually, and uses optimization algorithms and artificial intelligence to deliver prescriptive recommendations throughout the system. Dozens of healthcare organizations are now streamlining operations by using platforms with the ability to mine and process large quantities of data to deliver recommendations to administrative and clinical end-users. In a competitive work environment, implementation strategies are the actions taken to enhance the introduction, implementation, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions. Janati, et al. Evidence-based interventions are programs, practices, principles, procedures, products, pills, or policies that have been demonstrated to improve health behaviors, health outcomes, or health-related environments. The strategical analysis uses an evidence-based practice that could be able to utilize and implement the operational study in the healthcare setting. The product of research studies could be utilized to improve healthcare management and it would make it possible to utilize their findings and results as a form of evidence-based practice. The evidence-based practice would be the utilization of the different findings on how to address the health conditions of the patients in the healthcare setting.
Utilizing EBP promotes more of a collaborative approach to care. When all providers are basing their care on the latest evidence, variation of care is reduced. Add provider communication to this mix, and a recipe for quality care and improved patient safety is created. Therefore, the impact of healthcare researches and analysis on evidence-based practice could be the utilization and implementation of the research study in the actual medical set-ups in the healthcare setting. Evidence-based management practice is critical in improving the competence of decision-makers and their motivation to utilize more scientific methods in hospital management decision-making (Tsai et al., 2015). EBP is also critical for enhancing organizational decisions to bridge the theory and practice as this bears a critical, decisive impact on hospital performance. This also calls for the application of professional skills necessary to manage healthcare decisions and outcomes effectively.
