Sharon could begin by explaining openly and honestly what the current wants and needs of Netflix are at this time.  Sharon should present this as a “benefit-oriented” (Opresnik, 2014) dialogue to discuss what can be done to meet the needs of Netflix.  Once this has been communicated to Alice, Sharon would want to ask Alice questions and listen to what Alice has to say (Opresnik, 2014).  This will allow Sharon to understand the wants and needs of Alice and negotiate in a way that benefits Netflix as well as addressing and potentially meeting the needs of Alice.
