- Choose a major corporation (apart from Nike Inc.) within the sporting apparel and footwear industry (i.e. Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Under Armor).
- Critically examine its structure as a global and post-industrial corporation, with a distinct pattern of offshore relocation of manufacturing, and associated division of labour within its global commodity chain.
- Assess your chosen corporation’s role in either exploiting, or providing manufacturing opportunities within, developing periphery economies. Are global sport workers being exploited or given opportunities?
