technical innovations have led to increased globalised communication involving a
greater number of participants from around the world. Communication is now faster
and more direct, but the environment in which it takes place is becoming increasingly
complicated, leading to a wider range of communication problems.
You are a consultant to an Australian-based telecommunications company with
offices throughout the world. You have been asked to investigate why
communication problems are occurring between employees in the national offices;
and between the employees in the national and the off-shore offices. You have also
been asked to provide some strategies to improve communication within the
company
