In-Class Assignment: Evaluate Writing on Websites (Click Here to Read Instructions & Submit) For this assignment, choose two different professional websites that interest you. Use the specific digital writing tips described in the article “5 Basic Writing Tips for Digital Media” and the video “Core Principles of Writing for the Web” (both posted on Moodle) to evaluate the writing on those two websites, answering the following: 1. In what ways do those websites meet the described standards for business writing? 2. What recommendations would you make in order that they meet other standards? 3. Include the website links with your analysis of each. Write your evaluation in a business-like style (12 pt. font and single spacing with no indented lines), in a clear, precise fashion that avoids the “4 eliminations” (“flabby” expressions, redundancies/repetitions, long lead-ins, and empty phrases).
