You are an IT project manager for an e-wallet company in your country where you manage a project to build your inhouse solutions. With appropriate examples,
a) Discuss how do you manage integrated change control for new requirements that stakeholders demand late in the project execution.
b) Discuss how you prevent scope creep while still allowing for some flexibility in the project plan?
c) Identify TWO (2) potential external dependencies for this project and suggest what would you do when the project delayed due to these external dependencies.
Question 3
You are the IT manager for your company and has been assigned for a network upgrade project. The network will consist of 400 workstations, 15 servers and 25 network printers. The network will be segmented through switches. All the workstations and printers will be on one segment and the servers on the other. Out of 15 servers on the network, 9 servers will be replaced with 6 new servers; 3 servers will be domain controllers, 3 servers will be mail servers and the rest will be antivirus servers. In addition to the network infrastructure created, each workstation will be replaced by new PC. Each PC will be configured identically with Windows and will use Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to receive its IP address. The remaining 6 old servers and 25 network printers will remain in the network and Windows server patches also need to be updated.
