➢ The objective of this assessment is to get you to critically analyse the human resources situation in the theoretical case provided. Using the information provided, we would like you to identify some of the weaknesses in the current people management structures/practices, and using the theories and knowledge that you have gained from this unit, develop some articulate and well supported recommendations for changes/improvements to these structures and/or practices.

Executive Summary
(maximum 200 words)
A paragraph that provides a quick overview of the entire report, including its purpose, major findings and recommendations
Table of Contents

The table of contents lists the main headings used in the report, and includes the page on which the headings appear. Tables, diagrams or illustrations are listed separately in a Table of Figures which comes after the Table of Contents.
Introduction
The introduction explains the purpose of the report, and the analysis/description that will be provided to the reader (only needs to be brief).
Discussion or Body
The body contains the substance of the report, which is separated into topic/discussion areas using numbered headings and subheadings. You may use broad level headings to separate different elements of analysis, and then use sub-headings to break down your analysis under each heading according to different ideas/topics.
The body of the report will need to identify and critically analyse the key HR issues from the case information provided. You will need to identify, using relevant HR literature, the potential HR ramifications of each of the issues identified.
You will need to answer the following questions:
• What are the issues and what is their impact upon the operation and competitiveness of the organisation?
• What does the literature tell us about these issues and their potential ramifications for organisations?
Conclusion
Needs to provide an overview of key findings from the report discussion/body

The recommendations provided need to provide a justified course of action which addresses and overcomes the issues identified in the report discussion. We are expecting to see each recommendation well supported by academic literature.
We are expecting to see at least three contemporary recommendations that align with the growth strategy of the business, as well as the current business environment.

Appendices

Appendices contain any extra supporting information (e.g. pictures, graphs, tables) that are relevant, but is included at the end of the report so as not to distract the reader from the ideas in the main section of the report. Appendices should be clearly set out and numbered in the order they are mentioned in the text.
