Task description & requirements There are two assessments which require you to progressively develop key sections of an international Market Entry Plan over the course of the semester. These assessments are to be framed as reports to the senior management team of a firm seeking to internationalise or expand their international operations. Your Market Entry Plan (Parts A & B) is to be based on ONE (1) only of the three scenario options detailed below. Once you have chosen the scenario, you will need to find a real firm in the scenario to complete the assessment tasks. Scenarios: 1. An agricultural machinery manufacturer based in the United States wanting to enter India, South Africa, or China. 2. A major meat processor in Mexico, wanting to reduce dependence on the US markets by entering South Korea, Indonesia, or Vietnam. 3. A winery in Australia wanting to enter Japan, Malaysia, or India. For this assessment, you need to complete the following tasks: 1. Discuss the driving force for internationalising the firm in the chosen scenario. [10 marks] 2.
