Writing a team report on the flying and handling qualities of the aircraft type flown during your flight test exercise, taking place at Kavala airport, Greece.
It is expected that you follow the thought process and flight test procedures as demonstrated and analysed by the two test pilots involved with this activity and you collect and analyze the necessary flight data to comment on the demonstrated flying and handling qualities (climb/descent performance, dynamic modes, etc) of the aircraft.
The complete set of recorded data will be made available on Blackboard upon the completion of the flight tests.
For this coursework you can use appropriate engineering data found in any accessible source, while making sound engineering judgements, provided that you follow an appropriate referencing and that your engineering judgement/assumptions are well validated.
Thorough guidance/briefings for the test flight profile and the associated tasks has been provided in various forms and it is recommended that for the purpose of the assessment of the flying and handling qualities you can also consult the specification MIL-F-8785C ‘Flying qualities of piloted airplanes’.
