Human Factors in Aviation Safety

Hi. I need a research paper for a “Human Factors in Aviation Safety” Class. Requirements: Employ a preponderance of the information to be covered in this course (as appropriate) to analyze, evaluate, and create a solution(s) to an existing aviation human factors and aviation safety issue. You will take a look at the two textbooks attached as a PDF files, and choose a topic related to the subject. APA Style. Original work. No plagiarism. I have to get the topic approved first before giving you the green light to start writing.

Aircraft Turnaround Operations Problem

using Arena Simulation software The Scenario Description

Turnaround operations are defined as the activities that take place in the intervening period between the arrival of an airplane at an airport and departure of the same airplane. These activities include baggage handling, passenger deplaning and enplaning, security checks, cleaning, catering supplies, aircraft maintenance, and fuelling. Turnaround activities consume significant time and resources. Walkways must be set up for passengers to deplane and enplane; material handling equipment placed and operated for baggage offloading and uploading; and maintenance, fuelling, cleaning and stocking of catering supplies scheduled.

The efficiency and duration of the turnaround operation has a significant impact on the punctuality of flight departures. If turnaround activities are not completed on time, flight departure may be delayed.

The process starts when….

It is expected that you follow the thought process and flight test procedures as demonstrated and analysed by the two test pilots involved with this activity and you collect and analyze the necessary flight data to comment on the demonstrated flying and handling qualities (climb/descent performance, dynamic modes, etc) of the aircraft.

The complete set of recorded data will be made available on Blackboard upon the completion of the flight tests.

For this coursework you can use appropriate engineering data found in any accessible source, while making sound engineering judgements, provided that you follow an appropriate referencing and that your engineering judgement/assumptions….
