On one hand, many argue that the manufacturing jobs and income inequality that come with this expansion are necessary to build a future in developing countries. On the other hand, many argue that we cannot accept human rights violations at any cost, especially in an age with so many options and such expanded modernization. In your essay, you will be using your body paragraphs to analyze both of these arguments (how successful they are, what are the criteria of each argument), examine how technology is changing the global nature of the world (global sourcing, online shopping, bargain hunting, etc.), and finally, make an argument on how we should view the global practices of the current economy.
