Using at least 3 of the sources and relevant lectures, write a 3-5 page essay that answers the included question. Students must also consult lectures and/or the textbook.
Submitted essays should answer the question, make an argument (with a thesis statement), and then support the thesis with specific evidence. Essays should be based in comparative analysis, rather than descriptions of particular cultures.
Essays should be 3-5 typed pages, should use 1 inch margins and 12 point, Times New Roman Font. Double-spaced. Documents should be cited in parentheses (author, year).
The essay is intended to be a final exam and not a take-home paper. Thus extensive revision and perfect grammar are not a requirement. These essays will be graded on argument and content, but not grammar. Answers could be completed potentially in about two hours.
