The team report focused on the team’s performance, whereas this assignment is an individual report, where
each member is required to reflect on their role in the team, their contribution, and how you met the
challenges along the way. It is important to note that in this personal reflection we are not talking specifically
about the project performance. Instead we want you to focus on your interaction with the rest of the team
members. So you will be commenting on your part in the general team experience, as you progressed
together through the various stages of the project.
To guide this reflection, consider for instance the following questions:
– Looking back, what did you learn from this capstone unit experience?
– Does this learning from practical experience within a team, tie in with theories and frameworks from
previous units in the course?
– What did you learn from other members of the team?
– Which of these would you describe as hard project management skills, and which were soft-skills?
– What do you regard as the most important skill that you brought to the team?
– What would you do differently, if you got to do the project over again?
– If you got to do it over again, what would you definitely keep the same?
The questions above are given as examples of how you might reflect on aspects of your experience, but are
not intended to be definitive or prescriptive. You are expected to individually reflect on your own experience,
as well as identifying your particular weaknesses and strengths.
For each of the reflective aspects that you choose for your individual report, you should provide enough
detail so that the reader gets a good idea of your particular experience of this team environment. From your
description the reader should be able to compare and contrast your perception of being in the team, with the
experiences of other members in your team
