When performing a study, the research should come with sometime of outcome that needs to be disseminated. The stakeholders that the study would affect need to be notified of the outcome and if practices need to change. One strategy for doing that is to come up with implementation strategies. Leeman et al (2015) point out these strategies disseminate the evidence-based outcome while giving staff a way to implement them into their current practices. This is probably the best way to disseminate evidence related to the outcome. It’s also a way to reach the whole organization as everybody has to be on board with the change. Another strategy can be a presentation to the stakeholders with the healthcare outcome. PowerPoint presentations are an effective way to show all the evidence associated.
One last strategy can be a poster display with all the important information listed. Drury and Hart (2013) point out that the poster display that was used was widely accepted and easier to dissect by staff. When it comes to healthcare outcomes, the information needs to be easy to read. It is because the reader needs to be able to see the results and the evidence supporting it. The poster application can have information detailing the before, the research, and then the outcome. For example, there are many posters around a hospital detailing different healthcare outcomes and the research behind it. People view it and know to try to avoid these situations which are avoidable. Evidence has led to a practice that can avoid bad health care outcomes.
