Read the following example. A computer company has approximately 200 employees. Te production department is divided into parallel teams of 14 to 18 people. Tese production teams have responsibility for the whole of production, from the input of raw materials to the transport of fnished products. Tere is a team meeting every day to discuss production, distribution of work, work structuring, raw materials and the intake of team members. Tey determine their own working hours, do their own scheduling and check the quality of the products. Each team has a coordinator, with a supporting and coaching role.
