#2-The product design philosophies behind industrial design is the customer vantage point such as the look of the product and/or the easy to use product whereas the philosophies behind manufacture and assembly is how can they produce the product in the least amount of time with the least amount manufacturers. I believe the industrial design is most important in customer-focused product development.
-An example of customer focused product development in my organization would be customer needs. We create all our products solely off the needs of the customer.
-An example of a successful introduction of a new product would be apple airpods. It was developed for the people who live a busy life and still want to talk on their phone. Reply?
#3 Reviewing the philosophies behind industrual design and design manufacture and assembly in customer focus product development. Design manufacture and assembly is more relevant. The reason is due to many different factors and the first example to identify is designing the product is important to meet the need of the customer. When reviewing the next important this is assembling the product with lesser parts to meet the satisfaction of the customer. Manufacture engineers must design the product in a different way with less cost to satisfy the customer. Manufacture and assembly is essential in customer focus product development. When manufacture engineers design a product customer focus developement is a top priority . Customers are reviewing the product which is being developed develop to meet their need this is relevant. There are various stages through manufacturing and assembly designing the product in a particular way is important. There are different ways to achieve a design to develop a product.
