Training for this unit of competency will be based on the elements and the performance criteria and the performance and knowledge evidence identified in the unit of competency outline from training.gov.au. It will be tailored or contextualized to meet workplace requirements and will be aligned to the language and literacy level assessed for each unit. Training will be delivered at the skill level required for each unit. The abilities and needs of the student cohort will be assessed via a language, literacy and numeracy assessment on enrolment and student support will be provided if required. Assessment for this unit will be based on the elements and the performance criteria, the performance and knowledge evidence and the assessment conditions. Assessment conditions – Gather evidence to demonstrate consistent performance in conditions that are safe and replicate the workplace. Noise levels, production flow, interruptions and time variances must be typical of those experienced in the general ICT industry, and include access to: ? relevant computer software packages ? suitable hardware (desktop computers) Assessors must satisfy NVR/AQTF assessor requirements. The TAS is the framework for training and assessment, developed by the AIBT.
