The two fathers (gurus) of Knowledge Management (KM) Nonaka and Polanyi have contributed to the
field of Knowledge Management (KM).
Critique, compare and contrast the literature written on the above two gurus for the last
10 years using the relevant academic literature. Provide a table of the literature
highlighting the strength and weakness of the relevant theories or frameworks/modules
produced by scholars in relation to the work of both Nonaka and Polanyi. Then, by
choosing examples (theories, and frameworks/models of KM) you consider appropriate.
Critically examine and discuss how one of these theories, and formworks/models have
been implemented in industry in the context of applying Knowledge Management to the
innovation of a product.
