The history and evolution of smart phone is quite interesting and technology upgrading. It
took more than 25 years to smart phones to evolve and reach to the journey where it is now.
According to a survey 95% of the people in America own a phone and 75% people are using
smart phone (Andrew, 2018). Therefore, it is the most important piece of the life now a day.
In 1992, IBM revealed a revolutionary device and it was the world’s first smart phone.
Although it was a prototype smart phone and it is also known as Simon Personal
Communicator. The Simon was advanced for its time and it creates a great launching pad for
others to innovate and generate. Later, the first black berry device introduces and it capture
a good share in the market but Apple enters the smart phone race and begun transforming
the way people use portable technology. This industry is rapidly growing and allows people
to improve the approach of both work and leisure activities with smart phones.
