o Introduction (approximately 500 words)
This section should contain arguments supporting why the business issue you identified matters in the Australian context
o Summary of recent academic literature (approximately 1000 words)
A summary of the most recent, relevant academic literature relevant to your topic.
In order to complete this section, conduct a search of published material only focusing on academic literature and prepare a summary. Your literature review should provide a succinct overview of the field’s state-of-the-art knowledge about your research issue. Select a minimum of five peer-reviewed empirical research articles that describe the most recent (i.e., last 10 years) research on your topic.
Warning: ‘Reviewing the literature’ means reviewing the actual research on your topic. Do not rely on the literature reviews that the other authors present in the introductions of their papers.
This section of the assignment is deliberately broad. Part of your responsibility is developing a clear structure for the review: You will need to make some decisions about how you define your research issue and the constructs/concepts that you will be using in your study .You will need to create a framework with which to organise the articles that you locate.
Include definitions of concepts/constructs that will be examined in the research project as part of your literature review.
Please note that appropriate attribution of ideas to relevant sources (e.g. through citations, paraphrasing) is a key skill you need to demonstrate in your literature review. Inappropriate use of other sources (e.g. copying and pasting from another literature review) will result in heavy loss of marks for your research plan and possible actions for breach of academic integrity.
o Research aim (approximately 300 words)
A clear research aim that is arising from the literature review.
o References
Your research plan should be accompanied by a full reference list (not part of the word limit). A minimum of 10 academic references (other than the textbook) are expected in this assessment.
Length (i.e. 1,800 words) does not include the reference list and appendices.
On each page, insert a footer that includes your student ID, Name and the page number, on the first page top right hand corner include the word count of the document.
All tables, graphs, data referred to in the text of the assessments should be embedded in text and not placed in the appendices.
The research project plan must be your original work. Your research plan must identify a business issue relevant to Australia
