Tips for writing the paper:
h
- Be sure to turn in your paper on time – No late submissions are accepted. Have a Thesis Statement. Make sure your introduction includes a sentence or two that clearly states the reason you selected that particular person. Your thesis statement should resonate throughout your paper.
- Do not plagiarize. Quote only from the evidence you use, when necessary and use quotation marks when you do. When paraphrasing others’ arguments /statements cite them at the end of each sentence.
- Proofread your paper continually!!! Have another student in the class, a friend or someone else (perhaps the Writing Center) proofread your paper for spelling, grammar, etc.
