The brief is a research proposal of around 20 pages (excluding the title page and the bibliography) that outlines a quantitative study to measure whether participation in CSR in companies in Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen will increase staff motivation. And, whether such an increase is due to increase in organizational pride, a feeling of being politically correct, an increase in sense of morality offered by the company, increase in relatedness with others in the company, empowerment to increase competence and autonomy, or any other factors. While participation in CSR is the Independent variables, these are the sub-independent variables that can be used to explain the model or course of action. The methodology could be two-fold. It could be a longitudinal study that identifies companies who have not started CSR, but are willing to participate in CSR, and the study can track the differences in the employee motivation over a course of 6 months. Or, it can be simply an survey/ questionnaire format matching companies of varying CSR participation levels vs 0 participation level. I have included some resources that I have already found. These can be included, but require additional resources. I have also attached the outline that will give an clear overview of what is required. On the implications section, please also propose some studies of limitations on the current study and look into potential ways in which CSR can backfire (as in decreasing staff motivation). Please assign a writer who is experienced with research methods and have experience in writing a quantitative psychological research proposal. I am going to put in 15 pages for the time being. But if expansion is required, I will pay for the additional pages.
