Josh Denoff is an intern in the mayor’s office. He wrote a follow-up letter for the mayor to send to taxpayers who have not donated to the Green Initiative. Now, Josh needs you to embed an Excel chart in the document to illustrate the cost savings with the new recycling program. He also needs you to link Excel data to the letter that lists the current number of kilowatt hours that ball fields in the parks are lit, and the expected number under a new plan for lighting. He is waiting to hear from the Parks and Recreation Department regarding how many lit ball fields are in each park. To create the letter, complete the following steps:

1. Start Word, open the document Request, which is located in the Integration  Review folder included with your Data Files, and then save the document as Donation Request in the location where you are saving your files. 2. Start Excel, open the Data Updated workbook, which is located in the Integration  Review folder included with your Data Files, and then save the workbook as Green Updates in the location where you are saving your files. 3. Copy the chart in the Cost Savings Chart worksheet, and then embed it in the Donation Request document, in the blank paragraph between the second and third paragraphs in the body of the letter, matching the theme and formatting used in the Donation Request document. 4. Change the color palette of the chart to Color 16. 5. Switch to the Green Updates workbook, and then copy the range A4:D13 in the Lights worksheet to the Clipboard. 6. Switch to the Donation Request letter, and then locate the blank paragraph at the top of page 2 or the bottom of page 1 (the exact location changes depending on the printer connected to your computer). Position the insertion point in the blank paragraph, and then link the copied cells using the destination styles.

7. Switch to the Lights worksheet in the Green Updates workbook, and then add the following numbers of lit ball fields to column B, starting with cell B5: 0, 3, 2, 1, 1, 0, 0, 2. Save your changes to the workbook, and then close it. 8. Switch back to the Donation Request document, and then update the link. 9. Apply the Grid Table 4 – Accent 1 table style to the table. 10. At the end of the letter, change the name “Paul Winters” to your name. Change the view to Multiple Pages, save the document, and then close it.
