Criteria
1. Introduction includes attention getter, introduction, and thesis statement that combines the topic and purpose.
2. Body includes 2-5 key ideas with sub-ideas as necessary, and transitional sentences are complete and clear.
3. Conclusion contains one or two of the following: summary of key ideas, quotation (emotional or factual), rhetorical question, challenge to the audience, or call to action.
4. At least one credible source is cited (APA format), and outline is free of grammatical errors.
