After reading the articles and looking at the video,  In 400 words or more compare and contrast the policing of people of African descent in America during the enslavement period, post enslavement and the 21st century.  Do you believe the start of policing in this country has anything to do with the way in which people of African descent have been policed in this country? If more whites are killed by the police than black people, why is there such uproar in the black community about police brutality? What are your views on the Stop and Frisk policing program of New York? How has policing of people of African descent negatively impacted their communities. What role do you feel social-economic status has to do with policing. Is there a way to decrease police brutality?

Unequal access to health care, implicit bias, unauthorized experimentation (used as medical guinea pigs) is a enormous part of the history of people of African descent throughout the diaspora. Your task is to read the articles and to watch the video, which outline just some of the history of the United States and the medical field.  This information highlights  some people who were revered in the medical field who used people of African descent as stepping stones and causalities to advance medicine in an unethical, spiritually immoral and corrupt way. It also speaks to the governments involvement of inhumane practices for over a century.  In 400 words or more what are your thoughts on the history of the medical field in this country and how racism continues in the present day.
