Choose a company that has been in the press recently involved in a supposed scandal (or you may choose one of the below companies) and develop a critical analysis of the ethical issues involved in the case. Pay special attention to the role of corporate culture in the case. Your 650-1000 word analysis should include all of the following:

A short description of the facts of the case
Identification of the ethical issues involved – what was the alleged ethical wrong done
An informed evaluation of whether it was wrong or not, and more importantly, a defense of why
If it was a problem, in your informed opinion, what was its root cause or source? Was the problem more a matter of individuals gone wrong, or was it more systemic, organizational, and a result of corporate culture?
A statement of your informed opinion about what could have been done to avoid the problem. What values or changes in character of the individuals involved would have prevented this? What changes in the corporate culture would have done so? What internal controls might have prevented this situation? Do we need more laws & government regulation? Etc.
This will require you to do some research to get the facts. Utilize high-quality outside sources. Where applicable, use what you’ve learned in the course thus far in your evaluation.
