You have to discuss this in a 4,000 word essay. This essay will be assessed on the following criteria.
Criteria
Justification of Selection: You need to justify why the concept you have selected is significant, important or even critical to understanding and working in the design innovation landscape.
Linking to theory: what ideas, theory and research underpins the concept you are contending is important in the area of innovation and design. How did this theory inform or guide the development of your concept,
Use of practice: Use interesting, innovative examples and case studies to illustrate the concept you are communicating. Select examples beyond the normal case studies and examples used in the last presentations.
Depth of understanding and analysis: This is not a very long submission but you are required to show depth of thinking and understanding as well as economy with words.
Effective Communication: You need to present your ideas in a clear effective manner that helps the reader understand the content. You may use any structure you think best but this must include a visual element describing the examples you are using. These could be photos but equally other graphic communication, diagrams, drawings or other representation are also welcomed.
