Put simply, a literature review is an overview of what has been published on a particular
topic, sometimes within a certain period of time (e.g., recent publications) or a specific
context (e.g., UK-only studies).
Typically a literature review will highlight the most relevant sources, will compare and
contrast arguments and will come to evaluation.
