Do you feel having the power to remove that person to be appropriate to the citizens? Do you believe this power should be granted to anyone, if so who? I too see more cons than pros in this as it can be easily filed by a 100+ word statement and some signatures. If this is allowed, I believe there should be a more in depth process. The person wanting to file a recall should have firm evidence as to why they need a recall on such official. If all that is needed is a small statement, this could become a slippery slope.
