Background:
“Ethics” are the notions, ideas, and feelings that control a person’s words, actions, decisions, and conduct (Starrett 2011). These ideas and feelings are developed by learning perspectives from our parents, experiencing life at all ages, studying religious beliefs, and formally studying ethics topics (Starrett 2011).
The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Code of Ethics includes a commitment to demonstrate personal integrity. Public administrators are to adhere to the highest standards of conduct to inspire public confidence and trust in public service.
Instructions: Create your own “Code of Ethics.” Maximum 2 pages length. It is up to you on how you wish to frame your code. You will share this code on the discussion board for the class in Module 4, Assignment 4.1. Your “Code” is due by tomorrow to give folks the weekend to look over your code. Replies are welcome but not required.
