Generic Job Description
The Human Resources Recruitment Generalist is responsible for creating recruiting and retention strategies to attract and retain the talent that will execute the goals and objectives of the company. The incumbent in this position interviews candidates, integrates newly hired candidates, works with managers to fill vacant positions as quickly as possible, and creates retention strategies to decrease attrition. The Human Resources Recruitment Generalist will also network with colleges and community contacts to build a talent stream.
Specific Description
? Routine Activities
o Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract quality candidates.
o Search and interview candidates and make hiring recommendations.
o Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicants’ qualifications with hiring managers.
? Periodic Activities
o in coordination with the hiring manager, the director of human resources; make job offers to candidates and negotiate offers as needed.
o Design the history, culture, and individual job roles of the company.
o Create retention strategies and work with management and other human resources to execute retention initiatives.
o Practice proactive relationships with employees to ensure timely follow-up with prompt, fair, and equitable investigations.
