Instructions:
As an intern I will be working for a chinese metal packaging company based in Australia that has a football club as a subsidiary in France.
I will expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyse actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping software through Cloud-based accounting software.
And assist with other accounting activities in the football club business such as:
- Review that last 3 years of the football teams’ finances.
- Develop methodology for the team to profit from the China connection (basically getting Chinese players to play in France then sell them to Chinese teams)
- Create Information Memorandums (In English, French and Spanish) in preparation for sale or new investment.
I will be working 240 hours in total, my working time schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 2pm.
My tasks will be divided into two separate sections:
1 section is with the metal company business.
2 section will be with the football club business.
Task:
4.1 Work based proposal (15%)
This is a short proposal that seeks clarification and feedback on a planned activity you seek to conduct and deliver during your internship. This proposal will lead into assignment 4.2 and should be 1,000 words (+/-10%) and include:
- A clear description of your proposed challenge/topic (200 words)
- A brief outline of the reasons why you consider this to be an important and relevant matter for consideration, (200 words)
- A preliminary literature review; (400 words, briefly introduce 3-4 seminal papers that outline the academic narrative to be explored)
- A description of your proposed methodology including timescale and resources allocated e.g. time, people, budget. (200 words)
- THIS ASSIGNMENT REQUIRES EARLY CONSIDERATION AND DISCUSSION WITH YOU EMPLOYERS SO THAT THE CORRECT SUBJECT AND PROJECT CAN BE SELECTED.
