Describe your envisioned company and its overseas expansion proposal in some detail. This means discussing what your company does; how big it is (revenues, number of employees, number of product lines or operating divisions); how long it has been in business and the extent of its previous international business experience, if any.
Your firm should be a fictitious company operating in a real industry (so that you can do an adequate competitive analysis). Remember, in the analysis that follows, your goal is to determine whether the country that you are investigating is a suitable location for your international expansion. Thus, you will be making a recommendation based on your findings as to whether the company should go ahead with the project or find another location. There is no right or wrong answer to this question – trust in your analysis when making your go or no go recommendation.
