• describe the extended and expanded scope of practice for the role within a nursing model of practice, linked to the NMBA Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice (NMBA 2013)

• justify why the role is required

• describe how the proposed role will comply with the Safety and Quality Framework identified in the NMBA Guidelines on Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner (NMBA 2011)

• present expected outcomes for clients, the health service and community

• describe and justify clinical governance strategies for monitoring and improving the quality of the\r\nservice provided to clients

• discuss succession planning for your role
