You are an instructional designer working for the same company—an educational consulting group. You are assigned to consult with a company and help the company with a new and updated comprehensive training program. There have been problems with the present training program, and the company’s chief executive officer (CEO) wants to improve performance throughout the entire company. Higher management members have mentioned that they would like to align the company’s training program with specific objectives found in the company’s policy statements. You will be working in a team that is already assigned to design and implement the new training. The team consists of a subject matter expert (SME), one project manager, an in-house instructional designer, department managers, the director of training, three in-house instructors, one vice president, and one production manager.
Your main task is to advise and facilitate the members of the team on how to align the future training program with the company’s policies and resulting directives.
This project deliverable is a report, in APA format, for the vice president. The report makes recommendations on how the team will align the program’s instruction and curriculum with policy statements and directive objectives. As your consulting efforts move forward, your report should include the following:
- Create or select alternative forms of measuring performance.
- Design additional needs analyses.
- Write clear and useful curriculum objectives using the ABCD format and working with Bloom’s Taxonomy.
- Create embedded testing, summative evaluation, and formative evaluation
- APA format 4 pages and reference page
