Students use SWOT analysis to assess their position in the market and help them with strategic planning. By evaluating their company’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats in the market, they will have a better understanding of their company and the industry.
Procedure
The assignment can be completed with the assistance of “Managing for Success” (Page 32-35 of simulation manual).
CREATE A TABLE IN A WORD FILE WITH SPACE FOR 5 ITEMS UNDER EACH CATEGORY: STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES, AND THREATS.
*** Keep in mind strengths and weaknesses are internal to your company and opportunities and threats are external.
Also note the rubric only requires 3 items under each category ***
