This assignment consists of the definition of a research project proposal in its initial steps. It must include the definition of a research area, a research aim and a research question/hypothesis.
You must upload the written assignment in a word document (using the Dissertation Proposal template) via Turn-it-in. Save your document with the filename: MIDTERM_xxxxxxx (where xxxxxxx is your last name).
Two parts (I & II): (Each part is 50% of the assignment)
I. Development of a research idea:
You must construct a research area, in a single sentence, with a set of selected field and subfields. The research area should be enough specific to define a clear research framework. A research aim must be explained, defining an objective proposal.

II. Development of a research question/hypothesis:
You must define a complex research question, that covers all relevant aspects of the research idea (the research question can not be a dual answer question). Two hypotheses must be defined according to the research idea and question.
