JC Penney Compare and Contrast Paper description:
Compare and contrast Penney’s to another National soft-goods company. The purpose of this is to look at what Penney’s has done well compared to their competitor and areas that are lacking.
Be sure to:
• Include an introduction to inform your reader about what he or she will learn.
• Similarities between selected companies
• Identify whether you feel the competition amongst J.C. Penny’s and (your selected company) is high or low. Using two of the Porter’s five forces, defend your position.
• Include a conclusion that draws upon the body of your paper.
Please be sure that you have provided the requisite detail to support your statements and assertions. Prior to submitting your document, review each area of your paper to determine that your statements are well supported with facts/supporting detail from the case and/or outside resources. I also recommend that you consider using subtitles to help organize your paper.
Deliverable:
Compose a high-impact; grammatically correct background of J.C. Penney. Using Word (no other word processing software is accepted) write an 8 to 10 page double-spaced document. The format should use normal margins, normal font (Times New Roman, Arial, Courier,) normal font size of 12, and double-spaced. Be sure to adhere to the aforementioned requirements. Submit your assignment to your instructor through WebCT/Blackboard Assignment Tool as an attachment in Word.
