Sirtris Study Questions:
- Assess the odds that Sirtris will generate substantial revenues when Westphal joins. If you were Westphal, would you have left Polaris?
- Should Sirtris do the deal with pharma? If you recommend the deal, what equity stake (20% or 51%) would you prefer? Why?
- Should Sirtris launch an SRT501 nutraceuticals business? Justify your answer.
- Suggest a launch plan for the nutraceuticals business if you think Sirtris should do it.
Recommendations
Suggest recommendations that follow logically from your analysis. Discuss implementation issues.
