Business Management Theory
Many management theories are floating in the world of business. These management theories are more important for a better success of business.
A business management is concerned with planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the business for the successful running or for the accomplishment of the desired results.
In my point of view, from many theories of management, I will suggest the theory of:
“Organizations as Learning System”
Because, this theory is fairly new compared to many of the other theories. This theory sometimes known as “Integral or Holistic Management theory – developed as a postmodern response to many of the older management theories that are still in use today.
The business is a system that is built on a succession of subsystems. In order for the business to run smoothly and efficiently, each subsystem must also work smoothly and efficiently within itself, but also with the other subsystems around it.
Business in today’s world is increasingly diverse. The boundaries, scope, content, structures, and processes of a business activity can morph into completely different ones in the course of a project.
For year, many businesses and startups have been experimenting with and implementing scenarios of working remotely. Meetings, conferences and social events are now occurring with regularity, and teleconferencing among various countries are activated both dial-in and dial-out formats.
Learning and change are major components of this theory, and learning is encouraged and made available to everyone- not just middle and upper management. The emphasis in this theory is on teamwork, participation, information sharing, and individual empowerment.
In ‘Organizations as learning system theory’, managers are responsible for coordinating the cooperation which is necessary to ensure the larger “organism” continues to function successfully.
