An XYZ business is expanding in Australia and, the company hired you as a network engineer to design and
implement their company network. The company aspires to use the latest technology with a reasonable
budget and scope for future expansion.
Your face-to-face meeting with a manager did not yield much from the non-technical manager except for the
following general information about the company. There are two sites one in Sydney and other in Melbourne.
Sydney site requires 50 employees while Melbourne site has 70 Employees. Both the sites have a Front desk,
IT, Sales and Marketing and Manager departments. The Melbourne site has two extra Departments, i.e.,
Human Resource and Accounting.
Students need to have a network design and implementation proposal. You are required to have the following
format on the report that covers the following tasks.

Task 1:
Since nothing technical information yielded from the meeting with the manager, you are supposed to gather
the required information regarding the user, application, and network requirements from the employee of
the company. You may use different techniques, i.e., Interviews and questionnaire to do so.
Create a questionnaire to get application requirements. The questionnaire must have at least three questions.
Describe the purpose of each question and categorise the question whether it is focused on user, application
or device requirements.
