Introduction

This report will demonstrate your ability to search for relevant literature, write about other work in the area, design a research project, and communicate details in written form appropriate to the audience.

The Task

By now (week 6) you should be in a group. To complete this task, you and your group will need to do the following:

 

  1. Finalise your choice of
  2. Search for relevant literature and related work and write a literature
  3. Decide on a research method and design the project (e.g. explain which case study you have chosen or describe how the experiments or surveys will be run).
  4. Identify ethical and professional considerations and management thereof (e.g. do you require ethics approval? How does it fit with the ACS Code of Ethics? How will you store data? ).
  5. Develop a time plan for your Identify stakeholders and include communication/interaction steps in your plan (e.g. workshops, meetings, conferences).

The group members will all receive the same mark for the proposal. Any perceived issues with group work will need to be resolved internally. If it cannot be resolved internally, please approach the teaching staff as soon as possible (i.e. not after marks are released).

 

Any sections deemed beyond the word count will not be marked. Appendices will also not be marked. The cover page, table of contents, acknowledgements and references are not included in the word count.

 

Formatting

The report should follow these guidelines:
