Task Description: Students should critically discuss an existing literature review drawn from a notable published research article in the topic or field of interest of the student’s anticipated research topic. In analysing and understanding the literature, attention should be given to such dimensions as the depth and adequacy of the underlying theory, the scope and depth of the review, the structure of the discussion, the depth of the critiques, the critical arguments employed, the research topics and issues identified and, perhaps, theoretical and research issues which are suggested, but not taken
