1. Provide an overview of a general debate (related to the issues we discussed during class) by
clarifying the key terms, issues and positions in the debate;
2. Apply the key points of the debate to a specific case study / case studies / example, and critically
analyze what this case study / case studies / example demonstrate(s) in relation to the debate.
Please note that you should draw on key materials / sources and information that we saw as part of
the course. But at Masters level, you are also expected to do your own research. This means that you
will need to research and identify academic literature pertaining to the debate you will be describing,
and / or sources for the discussion of your case study / case studies / example (the type of literature
and sources that you will need to research will vary according to the option you choose).
