Discussion Question
Let’s do something a little different! We are going to create a SWOT regarding the efforts involved with organizing an essay. (Yup, that’s right—we are going to use a business tool in an English course!) Given your experience with organizing essays and the materials in this course, create a list addressing the following: •Strengths realized by taking the time and effort to organize an essay •Weaknesses encountered while organizing an essay •Opportunities you have encountered while organizing an essay •Threats you have felt/experienced while organizing an essay Try to come up with three items for each letter: S, W, O, and T. Then use a few sentences to summarize your thoughts about the SWOT analysis of organizing essays. For example, after performing the SWOT, ask yourself, what have I learned about being a writer?
Week 4's Assignment
You will organize and draft your essay due at the end of Week 5.
THIS IS WHAT I'M DOING MY ESSAY NOW FROM WEEK ONE JUST NEED TO FINISH THE ESSAY UP.
Big tech companies like Facebook and Google define the information ecosystem in the world. These companies are transforming the public sphere completely yet they are hardly regulated or accountable. These platforms provide new opportunities for people around the world to connect but they are also encouraging terrorism, creating surfaces for attack, steal personal data, and suppress dissent (Samples, 2019). The debate on social media regulation has been ongoing for years. Some people argue there is a need for unregulated social media to end. Others argue that bad social media regulation can create more problems. There is need to debate and frame these issues.
