Transportation and Packaging

Any well designed logistics system will include ways to measure the overall effectiveness of the system. Inside of logistics are many support areas that must be available when needed, and provide an effective way to accomplish their mission. This infrastructure is the key to the success of the logistics system. There are many different areas that can be discussed, such as, purchasing and material flow, warehousing and distribution, and maintenance. This paper is going to focus on the area of transportation and packaging.
