The first way is that I will make sure that I apply all the elements of effective communication skills in order to lead effectively. This simply means that I will use a common language which every of my team member understands and thus avoid any issue that can be brought by a communication barrier. Since all of my members understand the English language, I will consider using it rather than using the Arabic language which would only be tailored to individuals of my home country. I will also apply open communication skill where I will be encouraging individuals to complain about a problem that affects them and what should be changed in so that they could improve their performance. This will assist in tackling problems affecting the group including solving any form of conflicts which might arise because of their cultural or even gender differences.

    Another important strategy that I will use includes proper interpersonal skills. This skill will allow me to interact with members of my team with no difficulties. It will include the ability to treat them equally without any favour or discrimination. All the tasks will be distributed to them based on their knowledge and expertise thus I will expect the best possible result from them. I will also encourage my team to be understanding and know that they come from different backgrounds, therefore, they should accept differences and learn to work together. Besides, I will develop a habit of consulting other team leaders on how they are handling their team. This will allow us to share ideas and thus develop and apply the best leadership styles required for the better of the team’s performance.
