Human Service counselors, you are including typical schedules for a year, month, and day. In other words, School Counselors, you need to include on your yearly schedule any test dates (TAKS, etc.)–you can usually print this off your school’s web site or get it from administration–in addition to your planned counseling activities, school holidays, teacher workdays, etc. Human Service counselors, if you are working in conjunction with an existing agency, make sure you note any planned activities, for example, a planned Depression Screening Day, etc. that will impact your agency. I want to see how your typical day will look. You arrive at your office; now what will you need to accomplish in this typical day? How long do you plan to spend on each component? Have you saved some time for a crisis/responsive service need? Individual counseling time? What are you going to do today? Begin with 8:00 a.m. (or whatever time your day starts), and show the entire day’s activities and times. The activities and schedules must follow what is on the 4 components paper I have attached under
