Assignment objectives:

2. Create a plan employing critical thinking, systems thinking, and cultural competence to address the identified global health problem or issue.

Scenario:

This assignment can be completed individually or in pairs. Part I is worth 10 points, and the final paper is worth 25 points.

A. What is the role of the nurse in this specific plan?

9. Potential barriers: 2 points
A. What objections are people likely to raise in response to your plan?
B. How will you respond to these objections?

10. Reflection on assignment: 3 points
A. What are the primary insights you learned from this assignment?
B. How does this problem affect global health and does it affect the United States?
C. How will this new knowledge affect your nursing care?

11. Mechanics: 2 points
A. The paper must be neat and typed, and must utilize good writing skills (spelling, punctuation, grammar, referencing, etc.).
B. All thoughts must be referenced (every 2-3 sentences)
C. The paper must remain within a limit of six pages (excluding the appendix).
D. It must be submitted by the due date and must adhere to guidelines, follow APA format, and include an abstract and reference page.
